NRA Convention II:327 Magnum from Taurus
Posted on May 16, 2009 in Phoenix
I’ve always felt there is a place for a hard hitting, easily concealable .32 pistol. And .327 is close enough. So I was excited when Ruger came out with the .327 magnum, but not so excited about the rather large (for a concealable snubby) firearm they put it in.

I’ve been waiting expectantly for Taurus to bring out their version of the .327, and at the NRA convention I was not disappointed. Although it’s not a fully available production gun and I couldn’t get specific information on when (or if) it will be widely available, the fact that they had it on display is a good indicator that it’s headed for wider distribution soon. Hopefully fairly soon.
I’m told it’s in the same frame as the 85 .38, which means any of the many grips and holsters to fit the 85 will also fit this.
Is it worth the price of a new gun for a snubby carrier like myself to upgrade from 5 shots to 6?
Hopefully I’ll be able to make that choice soon. As of yet I couldn’t even find this gun on their website.
