You Guys Just Don’t Stop Recruiting

Lurkers started piping up for the first time ever on blogs.  Bloggers admitted they let a deadline slip.  One forgot to check his post-holiday recruitment numbers.

anewcontest123What does this mean?

It means that two days after the NRA recruiting contest closed, we’ve now accounted for more than 100 new/upgraded members.

Of course, now that we’ve crossed this threshold, I’m not going to let it die.

So, a new incentive program begins today.  We’re going to look backward and forward for this one.

Anyone you’ve recruited since November 4, 2008 through the first event of the Blog Bash on May 14, 2009 will count.  This means a few of you may have recruited some before the official “launch” of the contest that you may now count.  This means all of you have lots of time to expand your number of recruits.

Similar rules will apply:

  • From November 4 until the beginning of the Blog Bash, keep track of how many NRA members you’ve signed up, renewed, extended, or upgraded.  Notify us of your recruits via the form below, or at organizer – at – 2ABlogBash – dot – com.
  • We all know that times are tight for many folks, so I encourage you to use this link to recruit new members online at a discounted rate.008000;">
  • You do not have to make plans to attend the Blog Bash to participate or to win. The contest is open to any pro-gun new media publisher.
  • Results will be regularly tallied and posted on this site.
  • The exact incentives are still to be determined.  But they will be good.
  • Dustin’s Gun Blog was awarded with $50 in MidwayUSA gift certificates for his work leading up to Inauguration Day.  And, he has quite a lead on everyone.  That doesn’t exactly give the blogger who has not recruited yet any incentive.  So instead, every publisher who reported/reports additional recruits after the close of the original contest will be entered into a drawing at the end of this little recruiting program.
  • If you would like to contribute to the prize package, shoot an email with details to organizer – at – 2ABlogBash – dot – com.  If you have ideas for a prize package, feel free to comment.

How do you sign up for that membership affiliate thing? Seems like a good way to keep track of people you sign up.

It is! You can sign up here: http://www.nrahq.org/recruiters.

You can choose to take the commissions if you like, and you’ll always have the stuff on hand to sign people up in real life, too.
