2 Days & Counting…

It is now only two days until the man with the most extreme anti-gun background in history takes office. We all hope that he’ll focus on more important matters and restrain any efforts to infringe upon our Second Amendment rights.

blogbashnracontestchart118In the meantime, bloggers who have shared their recruiting successes are responsible for increasing NRA’s ranks. Let’s keep it up!

So, here’s the latest scoop. We’ve had a few last minute entries, and I expect we’ll have several more over the next two days. You must submit your new entries by 9:00am EST on January 21. This gives you a few hours of an Obama presidency to scare some of your slacking gun owner friends.

In addition, the prize package will be loosened a bit. If you’re not a fan of the specific products in the gun blogger gift from the Zazzle store, you can submit your own design ideas to be created just for you, plus a $10 gift certificate to Midway, OR we’ll make it a $35 gift certificate to Midway.

Even if you don’t think you’ll win this contest, submit your NRA recruits by the deadline so we can show folks what one tiny effort can generate. Let’s show them that the blogosphere is useful for lighting a small fire in a real life grassroots movement.

I’ve already had to make the NRA card icons smaller, make the graph both taller and wider. Give me reason in your final report to spend a couple of hours resizing and updating this chart. I promise I won’t complain. :)

  1. That’s awesome. I’m hoping to get a couple more signed up. We shall see if they are in time for the contest.

  2. Do Liberty/Associate memberships count as well?

I’ve got 1 Junior, and four associate memberships going out in the mail shortly.

  3. Yes, they do! Cool, I’ll add all of those. Have you signed up any others since mid-November? If so, let me know.

  4. My total recruiter membership tally currently is:

    1 Regular
    1 Youth
    4 Associate

I just got my recruiter forms a week ago. I figure it’s not quite enough to compete, and that I’d focus on a 2009 total. But I wanted to contribute to the blogger tally so we have more representation with the NRA.

    :-)

  5. Good job! Anyone you’ve convinced to sign up since Nov. 14 counts.
