NRA Recruiting Contest Tally

Out of the gate, we have three folks who have reported new NRA memberships over the weekend.
George of The Newbie Shooter reports 3 new members and 2 new renewals/extensions. 
The infamous Breda finally joined herself at the gun show.
And finally, Countertop has been hitting people up down in DC, reporting 4 renewals and 3 new members.

Oh, and I already have a new design idea for the BitterGunOwner Zazzle store thanks to a Facebook conversation over the weekend.

Quick reminder, Tom Gresham of GunTalk fame has arranged for discounted memberships. That’s where I have been pointing people. You can link folks to http://membership.nrahq.org/default.asp?campaignid=XR020586.
That’s certainly a suggestion. He didn’t actually arrange for discounts because it’s a generic recruiter discount. (He either donates the savings to NRA or he may also choose to collect them. Many do it for the extra income, or clubs use the returns to fund programs or facilities improvements.) The link I provided in the initial announcement is their new media code which results in the same discount. It just shows that folks came through new media efforts. Either way, they save money!
