With only six months until the of the next NRA Annual Meeting and Second Amendment Blog Bash and 67 days until the start of the Obama Administration, it’s time to recruit on behalf of the Second Amendment. We need to grow our efforts and show the anti-gun lawmakers that our coalition of shooters, hunters, collectors, and competitors is ready to act if they try to cross the lines with any attempts to restrict our rights.
In that spirit, I’m announcing a contest to all Second Amendment bloggers and other new media producers. From now until the end of Inauguration Day, keep track of how many NRA members you’ve signed up, renewed, extended, or upgraded. Let me know as you sign folks up, we’ll keep a tally here on the Blog Bash site.
The winner will be determined by the number of members recruited, renewed, extended, or upgraded. The winner will receive their choice of merchandise from the BitterGunOwner Zazzle store.
We all know that times are tight for many folks, so I encourage you to use this link to recruit new members online at a discounted rate.
It’s not enough to buy the guns you fear might be banned under Obama’s plans, we must get as many NRA members signed up as possible. You do not have to make plans to attend the Bash to win. This is about increasing our voices and profile on Capitol Hill and in every capital city in this country.

If you want something to sign people up offline, you can have them call 877-NRA-2000. If it’s something you think you’d like to do outside of this contest, you could also contact them about becoming a membership recruiter. You can then offer the reduced rate memberships offline.
